Research Fellow/Professor of Institute of Political Science of Academia Sinica (IPSAS)

Tse-Kang Leng is a Research Fellow of the Institute of Political Science at Academia Sinica (IPSAS) and Professor of Political Science of National Chengchi University (NCCU). Professor Leng served as the Director of IPSAS, and the Head of Political Science Department of NCCU. He was the Visiting Fellow at Stimson Center, Senior Fulbright Scholar at University of Virginia, and Visiting Professor at University of Göttingen and University of Tübingen. His research interests focus on political economy of globalization, local governance in China, and culture and creative industries. Professor Leng’s recent research projects include Artic and Nordic diplomacy, political economy of high-tech development, and comparative studies of cultural governance. Professor Leng received his Ph.D. in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia in 1995.
