Taiwan Art Gallery Archive
In response to the limited discussion of art gallery exhibitions and activities, as well as the regional development of art galleries in the field of Taiwanese art history, Taipei Art Economy Research Centre (TAERCentre) initiated the “Taiwan Art Gallery Archive” series of projects in 2010. This included the implementation of the “Oral History of Taiwan Art Gallery Industry.” In 2017, TARECentre launched the “Taiwan Art Gallery Industry Archive – arTchive,” which extended the collection and acquisition of data from the oral history phase. This initiative aims to construct the first-ever Asian art archive focused on art galleries, and it does so through three main dimensions: “Digital Archive,” “Archival Research,” and ” Research, Development, Application, and Promotion.” These dimensions collectively build a knowledge system and data infrastructure.

Art Assets and Appraisal
In addition to conducting research on industry environments and trends, and establishing “Taiwan Gallery Industry Archive”, TAERCentre also provides “Art Asset Appraisal” services. We establish an environment system for art assets management and collaborate with TAGA Appraisal Committee. The services encompass three major areas: Insurance Appraisal, Charitable Donations, And Asset Appraisal. Upon completing the art asset appraisal, a professional appraisal certificate is issued.
