The Asia Longitudinal Line aims to become the leader in the regional art industry.
As international attention on Asian art and aesthetics increases annually, discussions on diverse cultural perspectives and values that intersect with the Asian phenomenon are gradually converging into a contemporary trend, sparking various forms of debate. In response to the shift in the global economic center of gravity from the West to the East, the Asia-Pacific Art Gallery Alliance (APAGA) was established in 2015 by a strategic alliance of eight founding members. They had reached an initial consensus to combine foreign resources with their own strengths. The members are not only the most influential gallery associations in their respective countries with their own gallery members, but they also maintain good relationships with their governments. This is key to strengthening the alliance's cooperation, pooling the resources of the members, and increasing cultural exchanges between governments through this platform.
In 2023, as the current chairperson of APAGA, TAGA organized the "2023 APAGA & Appraisal Practice Forum" on the morning of October 20th, in preparation for the 30th ART TAIPEI 2023. The forum focused on artwork authentication and appraisal.
